A di Alessi Lily Pond chopsticks and fish shaped chopstick holder
This pair of chopsticks and holder is part of the A di Alessi OrienTales range which has been designed by Stefano Giovannoni in collaboration with the National Palace Museum.
The National Palace Museum of Taiwan can be considered to be the 'Louvre of the Orient' for the richness and scope of its collection of Antiquities and paintings. The collaboration between Alessi and the Museum grew out of the Museum's wish to open itself to the international scene and encourage greater awareness of Chinese history and culture in the West. Stefano Giovannoni was asked to design a mascot for the new Museum of the 21st Century and from this was born the 'Chin Family' and 'OrienTales'.
