It would be hard for the casual viewer to understand from a simple picture why this product has become a design classic, though once seen it delivers a richness of character that's quite hard to define. It's a thing of beauty far beyond the obvious practical aesthetic, possessing multiple personalities, to call it a simple Colander does no justice to the object!

The product has quite clearly been designed to be used and revered, either washing salad or with the addition of the included plastic liner, a wine cooler or maybe a vase.
