The Mathmos Astro Baby is a smaller version of the Astro - the original Lava Lamp, & echoes 1960's & space race The Mathmos Astro Baby is the smaller version of the original Astro lamp which was launched by Edward.C.Walker in 1963. With its polished aluminium base & cap this is very retro with a hint of the 60's space race. Astro Baby is still manufactured on the original site in Poole UK.
