The Astro Lava Lamp is the original Lava Lamp designed in the 1960's Inspired by an egg timer that he had seen in a country pub, Edward Craven Walker invented the Astro in 1963. The Mathmos Astro Lava Lamp has stood the test of time and has become a design classic and is more popular now than in its 60's heyday.
