A di Alessi King Chin TimerThe National Palace Museum of Taiwan can be considered to be the 'Louvre of the Orient' for the richness and scope of its collection of Antiquities and paintings. The collaboration between Alessi and the Museum grew out of the Museum's wish to open itself to the international scene and encourage greater awareness of Chinese history and culture in the West. The designer, Stefano Giovannoni was born in La Spezia in 1954, architect and designer. His explosive talent, able to embody the complex system of "affective codes" in his projects, is winning him the title of best "Super & Popular" designer of the years 2000. Mr. Chin Kitchen Timer is one of the products of his collaboration with Rumiko Takeda, another master of design creating for Alessi.
